Gibson Hummingbird 2000 Sunburst (USED) with 2 repaires cracks in top.
Guitar for on the road, despite its less than stellar appearance, the guitar still has a gorgeous voice - rich, robust, warm & woody, with excellent volume projection when heavily strummed. In short, a fabulous player & the perfect road companion.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout the guitar; surface scratches & some mild finish blemishes on the back of the body. There's a crack in the top that runs from behind the bridge all the way to the binding. The crack was professionally glued & cleated. The pickguard has been replaced, or at the very least the original was taken off then repositioned, but not very well, as it was not centered properly & now extends over the soundhole a bit. Despite these slight misfortunes, the guitar itself still has a great vibe to it & plays remarkably well.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gold Grover tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square-shoulder dreadnought. Solid sprue top in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge with compensated saddle. Unoriginal bridge pins with abalone inlays. Tortoise pickguard with Hummingbird motif & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides.
Case: Case is the ultimate pro Gibson case, this one is for on the plain.
Electronics: Fishman Anthem Blend system piezo/mic
Weight: 2,15kg
